Rick Proksell has a unique blend of academic excellence and over 25 years direct business experience with Hewlett Packard Company (HP), Compaq Computer, and Digital Equipment Corporation.

More recently, Rick has acted as program manager in HP's Strategic Outsourcing organization, leading the implementation of global IT Outsourcing deals in Latin America.  Additionally, he has led a variety of margin-improvement, growth, and business process initiatives within the company's Latin America Managed Services and Global Delivery organizations.  Rick has also played a major role in introducing the Technology Management Solutions business.

Rick was originally recruited into Digital Equipment Corporation as a Software Specialist.  He was selected for a variety of international assignments to manage projects and systems in Scotland, Ireland and Germany over a period of six years.

Afterwards, he held a series of managerial roles in Applications Development where, concentrating on producing solutions for Domestic Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing. In this capacity he directed the design of tools utilized for data warehousing, financial and operational reporting, strategic planning systems, and supply chain management. 

Rick also directed the Latin American Information Services Organization comprised of  technical professionals and managers located in five countries. While there, he implemented hardware initiatives for telecommunications, servers, PC's and laptops.  In addition, he presided over the applications development, data warehousing, and Intranet implementations while the business was enjoying explosive growth of over 30% per year. 

Following the acquisition of Digital by Compaq Computer Corporation, he continued in the Latin America division, managing the integration of Digital and Compaq systems and processes.

Rick created eCoconet, Inc in 1999 to provide Program Management, IT Consulting and Web Development services.

He won a 15-month consulting contract with Compaq as Project Manager for a major SAP upgrade affecting the Latin America Supply Chain.
HP awarded a series of contracts related to the implementation of global IT Outsourcing Services, which have spanned 4 years.

Graduating Magna cum Laude from Boston University, Rick majored in Business Administration.  He also holds an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering, as well as Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
